Dr. Akshay Angadi is born on 15th February 1988 at Belagavi (Karnataka). He completed his B.Sc (Agri), M.Sc (Agri) in Horticulture from University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka and Ph.D (Horticulture) from University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalakot, Karnataka. He has five years of teaching experience handling courses for both UG and PG. he is recipient of ICAR merit fellowship during Under graduation. He has published 10 full length research papers in various National,   International   and   NASS   journals, 6 abstracts. He has attended Symposium (2),  National conference (1), popular scientific articles (6), radio talk (5). He is recipient of Indo Asian- Louis Pasteur Distinguished Scientist Award during United Nation 75th Anniversary from IMRF Institute of Higher education and Research on 15.12.2020. His thirst area of research is vegetable breeding.
