An Assistant Professor of Soft Skill sandan English Language Laboratory Trainer at the Dr. D.Y. Patil Educational Complex, Pune, Ms. Devika Dhumal has been into the teaching profession since the past decade and is currently dedicated o the field of training students of various technical backgrounds in the ambit of Employability Skills, SoftSkills as well as Basic English Skills. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Contemporary American Culture Studies. A double gold medalist for her meritorious performance, she holds a Master’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the Savitri bai Phule Pune University. An ardent language enthusiast, she has been dedicated to teaching French and Spanish in eminent universities in Pune. She parallelly works as a Senior Content Strategist and Editorial Consultant in a digital marketing and content solutions firm, Spectra Cube. She has also pursued diploma in Film Appreciation, Comparative Mythology, Creativity in Advertizing, Mentioning the Unmentionables, Natural Resource Management and Archaeology under the Liberal Arts Programme. She was recently certified as the National topper in the NPTEL (IITGuwhati ) course, The Psychology of Language.
