Vijay A Singh has been dabbling in Physics for a long, long time. Currently, President, The Indian Association of Physics Teachers- IAPT (2019-21) and Visiting Professor, CEBS, Mumbai, he has been a faculty at IIT Kanpur (1984-2004) and HBCSE, Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (2005-2015). He was also the National Coordinator, Science Olympiads and the National Initiative of Undergraduate Science (NIUS), each for over a decade. He has for over 175 peer-reviewed international publications in various branches of Physics. He has lectured widely in rural schools and colleges. One of his passion is to guide high school and undergraduate students to carry out quality science research. Another is to design science problems around everyday occurrences.
