Ms. Afra TT, She has started as the first Curator of the Centre for the Tropical Biodiversity Conservation, based in Malappuram, Kerala. Studied Master of Science in Botany whilst at KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, Kerala, and going on to complete  B.Ed in Natural Science at the University of Calicut. Her research focused on the conservation and phylogenetic relationships of the horticulturally important genus Vanda (Orchidaceae) in Southern Western Ghats, and was completed in collaboration with the Gandhigram Rural University and it was awarded aspire fellowship from Higher Education Department, Government of Kerala. A member of the Society of Herbarium Curators, South Dakota, USA.
