Mr. Sandeep Prabhakaran, He is a passionate Research Botanist in the Centre for Tropical Biodiversity (CTBC) likes to connect the finer threads of nature to life. He is very interested in Plant taxonomy, Landscape ecology, Plant-animal interactions, pathology, etc. He has extensive research experience in alien invasive species and their survey, risk assessment, spread ecology, and development of management. Protocols and genetic improvement of various tree species in Kerala Forest.  Currently, he is involved in the assessment of conservation values of various forest types in Northeast India. He has work experience in Kerala Forest Research Institute Peechi (KFRI) and Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON) Coimbatore. He has good field knowledge all over Kerala forests and some parts of Northeast India.
