Dr.K.P.Indira is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Saveetha School of Engineering,  Chennai, India. She obtained her BE(ECE) from College of Engineering, Anna University, India and M.E., and Ph.D., degree from Sathyabama University, Chennai. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience and 8 years of Industrial experience. She has published more than 20 research papers in National/ International journals/ Conference proceedings out of them 15 are scopus indexed.Her teaching and research interests include, Digital Image  processing, Optical Communication, neural networks and pattern recognition.
