Dr. Umesh R. Pawar is a hardcore Botanist and Assistant Professor at PG-Department of Botany, SPK College Sawantwadi. His research area is in the field of molecular characterization of mangroves. He has received his PhD from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. He has several publications in his credits and attended many conferences. Dr. Umesh is more interested in the conservation of Mangroves. He is a author of many  book chapters and has edited four books.
