Dr. K. Sentiamarai Kannan is working as a Senior Professor & Ilead of Department of Statistics in Manomaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. He has 28 year's experience in teaching. His area of research interest includes Stochastic Processes, Queuing Theory, Time Series, Outliers, Data Mining and Image Processing. He has got 30 years of experiencein research. He has completed 10 research projects. He has supervised 50 Ph.D. scholars. He has published more than 10 research papers in various International and National Journals and Proceedings and presented more than 100 papers in conferences, both at National and International levels. He has been honoured with various awards. He has authored 10 books. He has organized many conferences, workshops, Seminar, both at National and International levels. He has made academic visit to many countries. He is a member of the Life Member in Indian Society for Probability Statistics (ISPS), Life Member in Indian Bayesian Society (IBS).
