Dr. P. Arumugam is working as a Professor in Department of Statistics in Manomaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. Tamil Nadu. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. His area of research interest is Stochastic Processes. Time Series, Data Mining and Fuzzy Logic. He has published more than 70 research papers in various International and National Journals and Proceedings and presented papers more than 30 in conferences, both at National and International levels. He has organized more than 50 conferences, workshops, Seminar, both at National and International levels. He has authored 3 books and edited 2 books and visited 3 countries for academic programmes. He has been honoured with various awards. He has supervised 8 scholars successfully. He is a member of the Life Member in Indian Society for Probability Statistics (ISPS), Life Member in Indian Bayesian Society (IBS).
