Dr. K. Yasmin is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Botany, Shri Sakthikailassh Women's College, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. She has vast experience in radiation biology and mutation breeding. She completed M.Sc. and Ph.D., in Botany and she is specialized in Plant Molecular Biology. She was received prestigious award DST-INSPIRE FELLOW from DST (Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi). She was awarded as a Best Women Researcher in Botany from PEARL Foundation, Madurai and received InSc research Excellence award from Institute of Scholars, Bengaluru, Karnataka. She published various research papers, book chapters and articles. She is acting as a life member in professional societies and reviewer in reputed journals.
