Dr. Martin Poras S.J did his Masters from Mumbai University and Ph.D. from Chennai University. He has several years of experience of teaching, research and social action. He has a vast experience of working in the rural areas of Bihar, on the issues of rural development, education, Panchayati raj. community animation, self-help groups, training etc. He has conducted more than 100 training workshops in socio-cultural analysis, panchayat raj, participatory rural appraisal etc. Currently, he is Vice Principal of St. Xavier's College of Management & Technology, Patna.
