R. Venkatachalam working as Associate Professor (SR) at Institute of Road and Transport Technology, Erode, Tamilnadu,  India .  He holds First class Mechanical Engineering, Madras University, Chennai and First class with distinction in M.E Automobile Engineering at Anna University, Chennai. He completed Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. He has teaching experience of 33 years in Institute of Road and Transport Technology, Erode. He published 45 research articles in International journals and conferences. Under his guidance 7 research scholars completed PhD and one is continuing their research.
