Prof. Pavan Kumar Pindi is currently working as Professor of Microbiology and additional post as Registrar Palamuru University and earlier he has held the post like Dean UGC Affairs, EC member, Principal and Chairman NSS, Head of department microbiology, TAS District Coordinator. He is having 22 years of research experience and 12 years of teaching experience. His main focus of research area is Microbial Diversity of extreme habitats. He is recipient of German DAAD Fellow, UGC Research Awardee, DST Young Scientist Awardee, TAS-Fellow, Best Scientist Awardee and Best Teacher Awardee by Telangana Government. He has completed major 3 projects and minor 01, 31 invited lectures, conducted 20 seminars, workshops attended both international and national with total publications 110 (95 in Journals and 15 in Books in international), 5 PhD students guided. Has three patents 1. International Patent (PCT/IB2017/053524) received on 20-06-2017 for “Bio fertilizer compositions comprising Chryseomicrobiumpalamuruense PU1T and methods thereof” -  Patent E-12/637/2016/CHE  2. Patent applied for novel methodology for rhizobium formulation- TEMP/37714/RQCHE/2016 4. Patent applied for a novel strategic approach in isolation and formulation of host specific rhizobia bioinoculants.
