Prof (Dr.) Sunil Kumar Kabla specializes in Tour Packing Operations / Hotel Marketing Management, Tourism Planning, Air Cargo Operations & Management, Hotel Economies, Pilgrimage and Alternative areas of studies in Tourism. He had done his doctoral thesis on Pilgrimage and New Tourism After B.Sc/Hons) degree, Dr. Kabla succesfully completed the pioneering Master Degree Course of the country at Kurushetra University in 1992, and subsequently worked with some leading travel trade organizations. From among them, mention can be made to Duty free shop(s), IGI Airport, New Delhi. His keen inclination towards academics motivated him to join Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior as Assistant Professor in 1995. He has beld several responsible positions lice Director-ITHM, Director 10AC, Dean Student Welfare, Dean Commerce & Management and Proctor at Bundelkhand University. To his credit, Dr. Kabia has many applied research problems/consultancy projects for tourism & hospitality enterprises, a good number of popular articles/research papers and thought provoking deliberations in National and International Seminars/Workshops/ Conferences. He has authored four books on various themes of Tourism and Hospitality. Dr. Kabla has the rare feat to be the Qualified Trainer of South Asia-ITHRDP and IATA. He is also a Certified Teacher Trainer from the Ministry of Personnel and Training (Govt. of India). He has fanctioned as a Member to Expert Committee on Tourism and Hospitality appointed by International Labour Organzation, Bangkok. Not only being on the expert panel of Tourism departments of many Universities / Institutes, he has also been functioning as a member of various committees of AICTE, UGC, AIU, UPTU etc.
