Dr. Gunasekaran Thangavel received his Bachelor degree in ECE from Bharathiar University (2000), Master’s degree (Communication Engineering) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan (2003) and Ph.D from Anna University, Chennai (2013).  He has around 35 publications in reputed National and International and National Journals/conferences and three patents to his credit. He has a total of 21 years of experience and is currently working as Program Director (Electronics & Communication Engineering) the EEE section-Department of Engineering in University of Technology and Applied Sciences - HCT, Muscat, and Sultanate of Oman. His research interest lies in the wireless channel modelling/planning, Antenna design and Digital Signal Processing. He is a professional member of ISTE and IEEE.
