Dr. Vikash, presently Assistant Professor, Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryans, graduated in Sciences and is an alumnus of Department of Tourism & Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He did his M.Phil dissertation on "Farm Tourism in Haryana" and got his PhD in "Tourism & Hespitality Services Management" from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He has ahe done MBA in Marketing Management from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He has qualified UGC NET & JRF for Tourism as well as Management discipline. He has more than seven years of professional experience in tourism industry with MNCs like Kooni Travel (India) Pvt. Ltd and Thomas Cook (India) Pvt. Lad. Apart from tourism Industry, he had stints with Punjab National Hank as Probationary Officer as well as Asst. Section Officer with Ministry of Railways. He has also contributed multiple research papers in Journals of repate as well as presented his research papers in national and international conferences. Ilis area of expertise includes farm tourism. sustainable tourism, travel agency operations, tourism marketing, organizational health and human resource management in tourism.
