Jiten Shah completed his PhD at the SardarVallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. Currently, working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, IITRAM, Ahmedabad. In Institution responsibility, he is acting as a coordinator of Student Start-up Innovation Policy (SSIP), incubation Cell at the IITRAM. His areas of specialization include vehicular and human behavior, transportation planning, traffic facility design, traffic flow modelling including non-motorized traffic. He is a recipient of the gold medal from The Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (GICEA). He is a reviewer/editor for the journal/s such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Transportation Letters, Taylor & Francis, Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Transportation Research Record, TRB, World Review of Intermodal Transportation Research. He is also a member of renowned society/institute including Transportation Research Group of India (TRG), Institute of Urban Transportation (India), and The Institute of Engineers (India).
