Dr. Krupa Shah has received her PhD degree on the topic “Assessing Mechanical Deformations in Transformer Winding” from the department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar in 2015. She has worked with Electricity board after completing her masters in Electrical Engineering for about two years. As a Junior Engineer - Transformer and Maintenance, she has lead a team of 10 members. She has also worked with Indus Institute of Technology and developed various labs. She received her Her research work includes condition monitoring and diagnostics of power transformer. In particular, developing a non-invasive method for synthesizing circuit models corresponding to healthy and faulty states of transformer winding using frequency response analysis (FRA). She is having 17 years of experience and she is a teacher by profession. Presently, she is working with Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM) as Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering. She has 5 published patents and has received order for grant for Indian Patent.
