Rashmi Sarkar M.A., M.Phil. is currently working as an Assistannt Professor of Department of Geography, Dudhnoi College, Goalpara. She is also working as Ph. D. Research Scholar in Department of  Geography, Guwahati University.Her specialization primarily focuses  on population studies, application of geospatial technology in  landscape studies. She is also an author of a book “Envionment:  Emerging Problems and Management” .  She has more than one year teaching  experience and more than four years in research fields. She is life member of Indian Institute of Geographer(IIG).
