Dr. Nivya John is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Prosthodontics & Oral Implantology at AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Nitte Deemed To Be University. Mangalore , Karnataka ,India. She is also the clinical coordinator of basic and advanced Oral Implantology courses conducted at the Department. She is Certified in advanced Oral Implantology and has conducted and guided over 800 surgeries in Oral Implantology during her tenure. She has completed a Short term research project on stem cell interaction and gene expression with titanium implants. She has over 20 publications to her credit.She has worked on researches using Concentrated Growth Factors and Platelet Rich Fibrin products for socket preservation and wound healing. She is currently a PhD Scholar (ABSMIDS,Nitte) working on Platelet Rich Fibrin products and their effect on implant osseointegration
