Professor (Dr.) Urvashi Sharma is presently working as Professor in the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has also been Course Coordinator of MBA (HRD) for 4 years. Prof. Urvashi Sharma has completed her Ph.D in "Role of Cooperative Institutions in the Agricultural Development in Rajasthan" (A case Study) from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) in 2002. She completed her B.Com (Hons.) and M.Com from the same University. She also holds degree of MBA, having specialization in Human Resource Management. Having 20 years of teaching experience, she has also worked in the capacity of Head of the Department (BBA) in GGSIP University Colleges.
She has also worked at different places in India and has experience in teaching in NCT, Sultanate of Oman. Prof. Urvashi Sharma is very active in the area of Human Resource management, Organizational Behavior and Corporate Governance and written many article/research papers in the same areas which have been published in Repute Journals and proceedings. She also presented many papers in conferences and seminars in different institutes and colleges. She has also been the Editor of Journals of the colleges of GGSIP University. She is a life member of 'Indian Journal of Commerce' and 'Indian Accounting Association'.
