Dr. Jitendra Pratap Singh, Ph. D. (IIT Delhi), is a Professor at Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute Kanpur, India. He has 17 Years of teaching and research experience and 5 Years of industrial experience in Terry fabric production, quality management, product development and related subjects. He was awarded "Vigyan Bhushan Award "a prestigious science award in the year 2000 for his contribution in the field of water purification and pollution control. His areas of research are nano technology, nonwoven, water purification, air and water filtration, home air purifier, face mask etc. He has supervised more than 15 PG students. He has published 3 international books and more than 100 research papers in international journals and conferences. He is also looking at the Institution Innovation Council as President. He is coordinator for the Innovation, Incubation and start-up cell of the Institute.
