Akshitta Nagpal is a research scholar, who did her schooling from Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. With her Bachelors and Masters in Political Science from University of Delhi, she is currently pursuing PhD in Federal Studies in the field of women empowerment from Centre for Federal Studies, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi after completing MPhil from the same department. She has interned with the Association for Democratic Reforms and was formerly associated with two NGO’s, Disha and Umeed-A Drop of Hope. She has authored a book titled, A Study of Implementation of the Central Agricultural Policies in Latur District of Maharashtra During the Period 2014-2019. She has contributed to blogs, educational magazines and conferences and has written several research papers.
