R.K. Dalai, MD. FCCP, is a Professor of medicine in Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar. He passed his MBBS course from S.C.B Medical College, Cuttack in 1977 with gold medals in medicine and ophthalmology and passed P.G. (Medicine) form S.C.B Medical College. He has more than fifty years of experience in medical curriculum from 1971 till date and has served as a UG & PG teacher in different medical colleges of Odisha in the capacity of Lecturer, Asst. Professor, Associate Professor, Professor & HOD. He has guided many Post Graduate students during his teachership. Dr. Dalai is a fellow member of Americal College of Chest Physician(FCCP), trained in Gastroenterology at PGIMER, Chandigarh and a life member of Indian Society for Study of Lung Cancer. He is also a member of different Associations like API, IMA, IRA etc. He served as Nodal Officer, ART plus Centre, Cuttack, dedicated for diagnosis and management of patients with HIV and AIDS. He has published many International and National papers in reputed journals. He has  written a book “Training module for Prison Physicians on Management of substance related disorders” . At present he is Principal, Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar.
