Dr. L. M. Varalakshmi is currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College (An Autonomous Institution), Puducherry, India. She has completed her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai and M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Her Research interests include Cryptography and Multimedia security. She has published more than 30 papers in various journals.
