Dr. Amandeep Sharma, was born on 19 August 1984. He received his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology and M.Tech. in Instrumentation from University Centre for Instrumentation and Microelectronics, respectively in 2006 and 2009, both from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (Panjab University) Chandigarh in 2021. He served as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh from September 2009 to May 2011, and also served as Assistant Professor (contract) at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab from August 2011 to October 2013. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor at DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. His research interests include condition monitoring, fault diagnosis, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning based computation.
