Dr .Okosodo Ehi Francis,is alecturer at Department of Leisure and Tourism Management, Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Ogun state Nigeria is a wildlife management expert with unique expertise in ornithology and has working knowledge of bird conservation from West Africa perspective. His research interests are ecotourism development,Ethno biology and Ethnomedicine, culture/ tradition tourism, transportation and sustainable tourism, biodiversity conservation, agro forestry practice. Okosodo Ehi Francis has over sixty five publications in local and international journals and conference proceedings. He is the president of the Global Birds Conservation Initiative, a Nigeria based NGO registered with Nigeria Corporate affairs Commission for the protection of endangered and bird species monitoring programme. He is the Team leader implementing projects of Global Birds Conservation Initiative (GBCI). He currently researching on the impact of  agriculture intensification on the abundance and diversity of avian species in two agro ecological zones in Nigeria. He had also carried out research study on effects of land use types on bird species on bird species in south western Nigeria. He is a volunteer for Nigeria bird species ATLAS and also resource person for this organization.  He has been funding all the activities of Global Birds Conservation Initiative in Nigeria. He is the Founder and team leader of Nigerian Birds International and already displays over three hundred pictures of Nigeria Bird species. Recently joined international primatology group that found that few numbers of Red Bellied guenon in Nigeria (Cercopithecus erythrogaster)
