Dr. R. P. Singh is Prof. and Head, Deptt. of Ag. Chemistry & Soil Science, Udai Pratap (Autonomous) College, Varanasi. He received his B.Sc. (Ag.) degree in 1986 from Udai Pratap (Autonomous) College and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Science & Ag. Chemistry in the year 1988 from the Banaras Hindu University. He started his professional carrier in 1993 after completing his Ph.D. Prof. R. P. Singh received various awards and honors from different societies. Prof. Singh guided 8 Ph.D. and 75 post graduate students for the award of their degrees. He has published 4 books, 6 book chapters and more than 75 research papers in peer reviewed journal of national and international repute. He also served as the Councilor of the Indian Society of Soil Science and Vice President of Varanasi chapter of Indian Society of Soil Science.
