Rabindra Kumar Jalaj is presently acting as senior scientist and head, KVK, Rohtas. He has started his professional career as Fishery scientist in year 2009 from Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar. He was the recipient of B.F.Sc. Bronze medal from Govind Ballabh Pant University of agricultural and Technology, Pantnagar. He did M.F.Sc. in Aquaculture from West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, Kolkata. He had published 3 books 13 book chapters 21 research papers, 26 articles and several abstracts in various national and international journals. R. K. Jalaj had bagged so many awards viz best fishery scientist award 2020 by BAMETI, Bihar, Young Scientist Award-2021 by DISHA, Outstanding Fishery Scientist Award, ICFAI, 2021, Leadership Role in Curbing Parali Burning 2020 by Agriculture today Eminent Scientist Award-2018 by Agro-Environmental Development Society (AEDS). He is also associated with 5 different scientific societies, which are engaged in agricultural development of the country.
