Dr. Boban Joseph is working as a Guest Faculty in the School of Behavioural Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. Prior to his present position, he served as an Assistant Professor at School of Social Work, Marian College, Kuttikkanam (Autonomous), Peermade, Idukki, Kerala. He has had extensive experience in Clinical Social Work. He has published widely in the area of mental health and social work in peer reviewed international journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. Additionally, he wrote a chapter for the book Outcome Based Education. He earned a Masters in Social Work with specialization in Medical and Psychiatry, from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappally, Tamil Nadu, India. Master and Doctor of Philosophy from Department of Psychiatric Social Work, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, India (Institute of National Importance). He is also a self-employed Counselor and Psychotherapist who specialized in various mental health concerns and is a registered Psychiatric Social Worker with the Kerala State Mental Health Authority
