Tanoy Mukherjee, He has over six years of research experience in understanding and developing conservation strategies for threatened vertebrate fauna across different habitats such as foothills; semiarid regions; the western and eastern Himalayas. He obtained his PhD. from University of Calcutta and worked to understand the habitat utilization pattern and food resource partitioning among megaherbivores in Gorumara National Park. His interest lies at the interface between landscape connectivity, natural reserve design, protected area planning, distribution modelling, Jand-use change and other remote sensing applications.
