Dr. E. Shanmugananth was a faculty and Head of Physiotherapy at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth deemed to be University, Puducherry India. He was served 15 years in academics and extended his service throughout the Nation. He received Emerging Physio Award in contributing to physiotherapy field at International Conference, 2017 organized by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIMS) New Delhi. He received Young Achievement Award contributed in field of physiotherapy at International Physiotherapy Conference, 2018 organized by Iap-Madurai branch Tamilnadu. He received significant contribution award in field of physiotherapy at International Physiotherapy Conference 2019 organized by International Association of Rejuvenating Hands, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He received icon of physiotherapy award at International Physiotherapy Conference, 2022 organized by KG group of Institutes, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. He was awarded for outstanding contribution to the achievement of guinness world record of "Most people trained to complete cpr training in 24 hours awarded to Saveetha University on 7th April 2016. During his career in physical therapy, he was a recipient of the excellence in research and awarded with Indian Council of Medical Research Funding Project, published and applied for many patents. He was been as a chairperson for many International and National Conference as a health care provider he also extended his services to community and outreach activities.
