Prof. M.K. Agarwal is a senior professor in University of Lucknow and having a vast 33 years of teaching and administrative experiences. Presently he is working as Head, Department of Economics and O.S.D., Institute of Management Science, Director, Population Reserach Centre, University of Lucknow are the other administrative assignments on his credit. Macroeconomics, Indian Economics Issues, Tourism, Uttar Pradesh Economy, Demography, Public Health and Managerial Economics are their areas of specialization. He has been published 13 books and 60 papers in national and international journals. Awarded Junior/Senior Research Fellowships by the Department of Economics, Lucknow University during 1986-1991. Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship tenable in UK for six months from 04 January 2006 to 03 July 2006 at the School of Development Studies, University of East Anglia, where he worked as Senior Visiting Fellow. Worked in different countries like United Kingdom, Sri Lanka Thailand, France etc in different capacities.
