Dr. Dakshayini PN is Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology at Maharani's Science College for Women, Maharani Cluster University, Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru, Karnataka. She obtained her B.Ed., M.Sc., and Ph. D degrees in Zoology from Bangalore University, Bangalore with admirable academic record. She has an extensive teaching and research experience and in extension activities as well. She has been awarded a certificate of Merit and medal for Academic excellence by Damayanthi Memorial and Gold medal for Bachelor of Education. She is a Member of Board of Studies and Board of Examiners in Maharani Cluster University, Bengaluru. She is associated with Indian Science Congress and Swadeshi Vijnana Andolana- Karnataka and also a Member of evaluation committee, Karnataka Public Service Commission. Dr. Dakshayini PN has published several research papers in National and International Journals and presented many research articles in conferences.
