Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tak belongs to Jodhpur district of Rajasthan and working as a Section Officer (Horticulture) at Central Public Works Department under Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, at Gandhinagar. He completed his M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. in Horticulture from Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur during 2018 and 2023 respectively. He has got 3rd Rank in ICAR-SRF entrance exam in Horticulture. He has qualified ASRB-NET twice in Fruit Science (75.56%) and Vegetable Science (48.44%). He has authored 12 research papers for a number of prestigious national and international journals, book chapters and several technical articles.
