Dr Shiwani Guleria Sharma is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. Her research areas include industrial and environmental microbiology.She has been published many scientific articles in national & international peer reviewed journals, book chapters and an edited book. Currently, Dr. Sharma has been engaged in a microbial waste watertreatment Project in collaboration with TIET, Patiala and Tel- Aviv University, Israel. She has received several awards, including State and National level young scientist award by Microbiologists Society. India, INSPIRE fellowship by Department of Science & Technology, Gold Medal for doctorate by DR YSP UHF Nauni, Solan, H.P., and best research award by Society for Advancement of Human and Nature, H.P.
