Dr. P.W. Khirade served as a Professor of Physics and Head of the Department of Physics at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the same university in 1999, and he also completed a Master of Science in Physics with a specialization in electronics. With over 34 years of experience in teaching Physics, he has published four patents both in India and abroad. He has supervised 15 Ph.D. students in Physics, Electronics, and Computer Science Engineering and has completed three major research projects funded by DST, TSD, UGC, CSIR. His research interests focus on Microwaves Interaction with Matter and Time Domain Spectroscopy, and he has published over 100+ research papers and four books in national and international journals like Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley. Moreover, he has presented over 60+ research papers at national and international conferences, workshops, and symposia and has been invited as a session chair/keynote speaker at National and International Conferences/ Workshops. Dr. Khirade is also a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE) in India. Additionally, he has served as an Advisory Committee Member at the Academic Staff College and was a Central Purchase Committee member. He has also worked as a member of Aviskar, Affiliation Committee for various colleges, Scrutiny Committee for CAS of University Teachers, Chairman of BOS in Physics, and as a representative of SC/ST/VJNT/OBC category on the selection committee under the Career Advancement Scheme for promotion of University Teachers. He is also a member of the RRC in Electronics and Physics at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Aurangabad.
