Prof. (Dr.) Jayati Sharma is the Director of the Amity School of Communication at Amity University Rajasthan, with nearly 23 years of experience in media and communication. Her passion for media research and academic excellence has defined her career. Before academia, she worked with leading media houses in India. Prof. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Investigative Journalism and Media Ethics from the University of Rajasthan and completed an advanced program in "High-Performance Collaborative Leadership" at Kellogg School of Management, USA. Her notable research on the "Effectiveness of Health Risk Communication during the Pandemic: An Explorative Study" has been recognized and included in the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Global Literature on Coronavirus Disease. Prof. Sharma's research interests primarily focus on Television Effects, Media Habits, and Media Ethics. She focuses on Television Effects, Media Habits, and Media Ethics. Additionally, she trains for the BBC's "Young India Reporter Program" and actively participates in leadership development initiatives. Her accolades include the Mass Communication Teaching Excellence Award and the Naari Shakti Award, highlighting her significant contributions to media education.
