James Morely was born at Kuttikad, a village in Thrissur district of Kerala, that marks the southern tip of India, in the year 1968. After his schooling in the same village, he had to move and live in other Indian states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh for higher education and teaching profession. Now, he lives at Tenali in Andhra Pradesh, where he is the Principal of a School Theism Poly vs. Mono is the essence of his Doctrinal Thesis titled Metaphysical and Materialistic Elements in Vikram Chandra's Novels.RTM Nagpur University awarded him with the Degree of Doctorate in 2020 for his well-researched work. His education and life experience, as a migrant in different villages, towns and metropolises of India, contributed immensely to bringing out this remarkable work in English Literature.
