Jyoti Das is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Department of Zoology at Raja Peary Mohan College affiliated to the University of Calcutta. He has a teaching experience of six years in college in the field of Endocrinology and Applied or Economic Zoology with special basis on Lepidopteran insects. His research interest  in the field of Sericulture includes Protozoan diseases of silkworms.
