Dr. Shankaraiah G. Konda is working as Assistant professor in Chemistry at K. J. Somaiya College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Kopargaon since 2011.He has completed his M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) in 2006 from Swami RamanandTeerthMarathwada University, Nanded He also completed his Ph. D in 2010 from Swami Ramanand TeerthMarathwada University, Nanded. He has received Dr. D. S. Kothari Post Doctoral Fellowship from University Grants Commissions, New Delhi in June-2010.He has received 'Research Excellence Award-2021 from Institute of Scholar. Bangalore in June-2021. He has published forty-three (43) research papers in National and International journals. He has presented more than forty-five research articles in various Conferences/Seminars and Workshops. He has successfully completed the one (01) Minor Research Project granted from UGC, New Delhi and guided to Post Graduates student's projects. He has worked as resource person and delivered an invited talk on 'Green Technology for Sustainable Development in National conferences at Kolhar, Maharashtra. He has also worked as resource person and delivered an invited talk on 'Intellectual Property Rights' in many National and State webinars. He is the life member of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkatta and International Science Community Association, Indore. He is the member of Editorial board of Journal of Advanced Chemical Sciences and Research Journal of Chemical Sciences, He is potential reviewer of Elsevier, Springer and Benthem Science publishers. He is recognized as Ph. D guide by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and one student is pursing for Ph. D degree under his supervision. His area of research interest is organic synthesis and medicinal applications to the human society.
