Multifaceted and multidisciplinary, Dr. Lakshmi Priya is a double doctorate and an international doctorate in the field of molecular oncology (Biotechnology) from the prestigious National University of Singapore, doctorate in IPR & environmental Law, masters in Biotechnology from Central University of Hyderabad, School of Life Sciences a dual masters in constitutional & administrative law and international law from Osmania and Andhra University respectively, M.B.A in general management from Singapore and international business management and M.A in English, Intellectual property rights and Media law from NALSAR, Hyderabad having an experience of about three decades in the academic and corporate sector as a technology and legal analyst focusing on the legal and regulatory issues in medical, technology and environmental laws. Dr. Lakshmi Priya is currently associated with Law College Dehradun as an academician and IQAC quality control expert from 2019. She is a member and active contributor to ISIL (Indian Society of International Law), IIPA(Indian Institute of Public Administration), ICADR (International Council for Alternate Dispute Resolution), IWAS (Indian Association for Women's Studies, SASCV (South Asian Society for Criminology and Victimology), The CySI (Cyber Society of India). She is the author of three edited books Ethics and Justice in Mediation, IPR in the Era of Technology and Innovation and Energy. Environment and Sustainable Development Legal Dimensions and has contributed book chapters in various published books. Nominated as the Vice-President, Uttarakhand State for WICCI in 2022 and the Convenor, Policy & Advocacy for IWN Andhra Pradesh for the year 2018-19, the India Women Network Chapter of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) she is a recipient of five national awards namely The Indo- Global Excellence Award in Law 2017 from the IGCCIA, The Environment Protection & Development Award 2017 from the World Clean Environment Congress and World Achievers Award In Law And Social Justice, 2017 from the World Achiever's Foundation, "InSc Research Excellence Award" 2020 by In.SC (Institute of Scholars), a unit of SDPL, accredited by UAŚL, Dynamic Leader Award from Avishkar Foundation, recognized by the Gol in 2022 and the Pradhanmantri Jan Kalyankari Yojana 2020 from Prachar Prasar Abhiyaan of Uttarakhand State.
