B. Krishna Prasanth, B.D.S, M.Sc (Epid), D.P.H., MBA (Hosp.Admn), PhD is Assistant Professor & Epidemiologist in the Department of Community Medicine at Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital, Chennai.He completed his under graduation at Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital, Chennai and Masters in Epidemiology at the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. He completed his Diploma in Public Health from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University, Chidambaram and PhD in Community Medicine at Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research, Chennai. He is recipient of BITE-IN award for the best outgoing undergraduate student at national level. He is a gold medalist at undergraduate and post graduate level.He has received Insc Research Excellence Award for the year 2019 and Young Researcher Award at the National level for the year 2020. He has numerous research papers in national and international journals and has authored over 12 books. He has delivered over a 100 guest lectures at various universities in India and abroad.
