Mamta Latwal is M.Sc. from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar and Ph.D. from Kumaun university Nainital. She is a faculty in the Department of Chemistry at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun since 2013. Her area of research includes nanomaterials as catalysts, drug sensors, ferromagnetic materials, and natural products. She has published several research papers in reputed journals and 4 book chapters. She has also presented her research work in various international & national conferences and completed 4 one-week long training programs. One project funded by UPES has been completed by her. She is a recipient of 3 awards viz, Best Poster Presentation Award in a National Conference, Certificate of appreciation for Best Teachers Trainee in FDP by NITTTR Bhopal, and Best Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence at UPES. She has been the member of organizing committee of 2 national and 1 international conference and Life member of professional bodies like NMRS and ISCA.
