Prof.Dr.Mrs. Manda Manoj Ghatge working as Professor and Head of Botany Department in Bharati Vidyapeeths M.B.S.K.Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kadegaon, Sangli(M.H.), since last 31 years. She is also Board of studies member in Botany at Shivaji University, and recognized guide for M.Phil and Ph.D course by Shivaji University Kolhapur. She has also completed Minor research project sanctioned by UGC on "Aerospora of Kadegaon Tahsil, District Sangli, Maharashtra and Major research projects entitled " Metal tolerance studies on road side plants along Pune -Kolhapur highway, Maharashtra "by University Grant Commission. She has published National and International papers in various Research Journals and presented research papers in International, conference at Thailand and Dubai. She is member of editorial board of reference book, text book and handbook .She is actively engaged in academic, extracurricular and social activities. For educational excellence, she has received various National Awards Like Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule Award, Priyadarshani Indira- Asmita Award,Star Icon Award and Bhaskar Bhushan Award by Maharashtra Journalism foundation, Pune.
