Dr. Mangirish Narendra Deshpande has excellent an academic career in pharmacy, He is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at Ponda Education Society's Rajaram and Tarabai Bandekar College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi, Ponda Goa. He has worked as Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology, PSPS Indira Institute of pharmacy, Devrukh, Taluka Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He has worked as Production Officer, Weyth Limited, Verna Industrial Estate, Verna Goa, India, QA Officer, Blue Cross Labs, Verna Industrial Estate, Verna Goa, India and as Professional Sales officer, Blue Cross Labs, Mumbai. He has total work experience of Fourteen years.

He has completed Masters of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from Goa University, and Ph.D. in Pharmacy from NAAC Accredited RK University, Rajkot. He has published 15 papers in National and International Journals. He has received 1st Rank in M.Pharm (Pharmacology). He has received 1st place in the poster competition at an International conference organized by IPS Academy Indore, and 2nd Place in Oral Competition at APTICON Jaipur. 

He is working on a consultancy project under MOU with AMSARVEDA Pharmaceuticals. He is elected unopposed as President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Goa State Branch for the term 2022-2027. He is elected as member of Goa State Pharmacy Council. He is a Member secretary of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee of PES RTB College of Pharmacy, Member IAEC of BITS Pilani (Goa campus), Goa Medical College, Goa and Zephyr Biotech, Verna Goa, and Nominee of CPCSEA. He is examiner at Goa University, KLE University, Belgaum and KIMSU Karad.

He is an Executive member of Governing council of Chatrapati Shahu Charitable Trust's Desur High School Desur, Belgavi, Karnataka
