Dr. Makari H K has awarded Ph.D. in Microbiology (Interdisciplinary in Biotechnology) from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He is serving as Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Biotechnology, I.D.S.G Government College, Chikkamagaluru, India with 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has published over 60 research & review articles in reputed National & International Journals. He has submitted 16S rRNA sequences of 20 different bacterial types at GenBank of NCBI. He has 06 research reference and text books in his credit from International publishers. He is a fellow member for various National and International Scientific Organizations. Dr. Makari has undertaken various reasearch projects funded by UGC and VGST Government of Karnataka. He is the recipient of National and International awards for his outstanding research contribution in Microbial Biotechnology.
