Dr. Mohsin Ali Gazi S/o Mr.Akhter Ali Gazi, who hails from Lal Bazar area of Srinagar Kashmir is a young man of 31 years, dedicated and cautious to responsibilities and a believer in team work. His flexibility to work under pressure to accomplish an assigned task in time makes him a potential person amongst the team members. After completing Graduation in the field of veterinary science (BVSC and A.H), he did his masters (MVSc) in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from SKUAST-K. He has worked in capacity of a Research Assistant in various projects affiliated with Department of Science and Technology (DST). He also has an exposure of rendering assistance in treatment of referral cases of Surgery, Medicine and Gynaecology and has been serving in the field as Veterinary Surgeon. He has been a part of the Animal Birth Control training programme and has represented the programme as the Team Leader. The author is presently working as a Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Govt Medical College Srinagar from the Animal Husbandry Department. The author is a distinguished member of the Editorial Board for Open Access Journal of Veterinary Science & Research (OAJVSR), International Journal of Livestock Research (ILR) and editor in various other journals and associate editor in Journal of Ethology & Animal Science (JEASc). Author has contributed so many national and international research publications in the field of veterinary science having a standard NAAS score with high impact factor. In addition, author has been working as columnist in various leading dailies like Greater Kashmir ete. He is a recipient of "Best Paper Award" of 8th JK Science Congress, University of Kashmir held in 2012. Author has been awarded Gold medal in the year 2017 for Paper Presentation by Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery (ISVS), and has been adjudged as Best Veterinarian and received 'Best. veterinarian Award" in 2018 by the Department of Animal Husbandry Srinagar Kashmir. He is also an active speaker and has delivered various tv talks and live tv programmes, especially pertaining to livestock diseases and animal health care and management.
