Monica Pradyot is presently an Assistant Professor at School of Law, UPES, Dehradun, having teaching and industry experience of 8 years. She has been teaching taxation laws for the past 5 years. She did a BBA LL.B (Specialisation in Corporate Law) in 2015 and thereafter LL.M (Specialisation in Energy Law) in 2017. She is presently pursuing her PhD in Energy Law. Previously she worked as an Associate with a Banking and Project Finance team of D H Law Associates, Advocates and Solicitors, Mumbai Office (currently known as Dentons Link Legal) for 1.5 years. She has successfully completed certified online Courses on 'Energy Within Environmental Constraints' from Harvard University and 'Renewable Energy & Green Building Entrepreneurship' from Duke University, North Carolina, USA. During her graduation, she has interned in various prestigious Lawyers and institutions such as the office of Shri (Late) Ram Jethmalani Ji, New Delhi; ONGC, Dehradun, Uttarakhand; Tata Motors Finance Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra; Sahara India Pariwar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She has presented several papers at National and International Conferences. She has also participated in various Faculty Development Programs.
