She is from New Delhi, India. She obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University and holds a first class M.B.A degree from the Institute of Environment & Management, Lucknow, India. She also holds an M.Com with first class from ShobhitUniversity, Meerut, India. She has been awarded with the UGC NET (JRF) in 2012. She is the first Indian Female Scholar who has been awarded with the Doctorate degree from Department of Management, North Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Tura, Meghalaya, India.   She has more than 5 years of teaching experience. She worked as a full time faculty in the Institute of Environment & Management, Anwari Campus from September 2010 to March 2013. Post submission of her PhD thesis, she acted as a guest faculty teaching P.G. Courses in Management in the Department of Computer Applications at North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Meghalaya. She has also served at Royal Thimphu College, Bhutan. IMS Unison University, Dehradun, Uttrakhand . From the year 2018 she’s working as an Assistant Professor at SRM University, Sikkim. She has published research works in reputed referred journals including in ABDC, Scopus, EBESCO and PROQUEST indexed as well as UGC listed journals. Among research publications, she also has published works as chapters in edited book volumes. She has attended around 14 workshops related to research and faculty development programmes and has presented around 8 papers in International Seminar/Conferences. Out of these, in two she was awarded as best paper presenter. She has also to her credit around 11 paper presentations in National Seminar/Conferences. Her area of interest includes Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Organisational Behaviour, Research Methodology  and other related areas
